Neighbourhood – more than numbers.

ConnectedCity is a research project exploring the interaction within urban neighbourhoods. The main question is: How can we increase the interaction between neighbours in a house with an anonymous structure and social diversity? Aim is to engage a dialogue about practice-based research for urban living. By exemplary studies on the basis of different multi-story buildings we want to develope scenarios which explore the urban living of future citizens and their particular opportunities and potentials in diverse cross generational communities.

The project website also started out as a digital sketchbook to capture thoughts, actions and reflections regarding my master thesis.
